Working in the field of dentistry since 2009, Kayla joined the office as our Practice Manager in June 2020. Over the span of her career in the field, she has worked as a Front Desk Associate, Dental Biller, Treatment Plan & Financial Coordinator, Dental Assistant & Whitening Technician, Social Media & Marketing Manager and in Senior Management. She has been certified by The Scheduling Institute, has taken administration/management courses (The Dale Foundation, DANB & MGE), and is an active member of AADOM (The American Association of Dental Office Managers). She loves training her staff to be the best they can be and providing a positive support system.
Outside of the office, Kayla is a professional singer, vocal coach and recording session artist. Coming from a long line of professional entertainers, she works with many of the top bands/orchestras in the Tri-State area. She has performed the national anthem for many New York sports teams & has lent her voice to many recording projects including local & national radio/television commercials and jingles.
Kayla lives with her husband Aaron in Queens and enjoys cooking, writing, binge-watching TV shows & spending time with family and friends.
Kathleen has been with our practice since 2016, but has worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 25 years. As such, she provides periodontal preventative and maintenance care. Starting as a dental assistant while still in high school, she has enjoyed forming close relationships with her patients through the years, educating them and helping them maintain their oral health. A native Long Islander, Kathleen lives with her husband of over 20 years, Andrew and their two sons. Fun Fact: Kathleen has a black belt in karate!
Lindsy has been working as one of our full time hygienists since mid-2020. A graduate of the prestigious NYU Hygiene program and now holding a masters degree in Healthcare Administration, she has always been fascinated by teeth and knew she would pursue it in some capacity as a career. Being a comforting presence for her patients, especially for those who experience dental anxiety is very important to her. Lindsy and her husband Steven reside in Suffolk County with their 4 cats! Apart from dentistry, she has a passion for exercising/fitness, dabbles in baton twirling and loves to sing. Fun Fact: Lindsy is a self-proclaimed “Home Goods Enthusiast”!
Laura has been a registered dental hygienist for over 25 years. She got her start as a dental assistant in the office where her mother worked as a dental hygienist. Besides a love of promoting good oral health which she feels is very rewarding, Laura enjoys making personal connections with her patients. Many of her long time patients have become like an extended family.
A Brooklyn native, Laura now lives on Long Island with her husband, Marc and their doggie, Zac. She has three daughters and spends her free time enjoying her grandchildren. Outside of the office her pastimes include cooking & baking, sewing/knitting and playing games (especially Mahjong and Bananagrams!) Fun fact: Laura's favorite food is coffee ice cream!
Tatiana has made a lovely addition to our office. Working with us as a Registered Dental Hygienist part time, she is a graduate of CUNY City College's rigorous Hygiene Program. Formerly working in accounting and finance, she decided that since she always loved teeth, it would be a wise career change. She really enjoys working with her patients to help them achieve their oral health goals and restore/maintain their beautiful smiles. Outside of the office, Tatiana loves spending time with her boyfriend, Jonathan, her son, Matthew and her two dogs - Max & Coco. Born in Brooklyn but raised in Queens, she loves to travel, is interested in interior design & decorating and loves animals. Fun Fact: Tatiana is a pescatarian!
Alicja comes to us having worked with Dr. Corsair for nearly twenty years in his private practice before their merge with ours. She has over twenty years of experience working in dentistry. She started in the field as a dental assistant before going to school for Dental Hygiene. Alicja lives with her husband, Adam in Queens and has two children.
Cristina began working with our practice in 2023 as a part time employee. She is the stepdaughter of our own Dr. Lary Verasco and is an accomplished hygienist and educator who currently teaches Dental Hygiene at Farmingdale State College here on Long Island. She has over fifteen years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist and five years of Dental Assistant experience before that! Cristina holds an A.S. and B.S. degree from Farmingdale State College in Dental Hygiene, an M.S. in Health Services Administration from the SUNY Institute of Technology and a prestigious Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of New England. She has authored numerous dental hygiene publications and was the recipient of the 2019 American Dental Hygienist Association Educator of the Year award. She lives on Long Island with her husband, Craig, and their daughter. Outside of the office, Cristina loves to spend time with her friends and family and also get outdoors when the weather is nice!
Lesly has been working with us as a full time Dental Assistant since 2019. After taking a dental assistant course, she fell in love with the field. She enjoys that each day is never the same and that she can care for and educate patients. In her spare time, she enjoys going hiking and exploring and has a knack for being organized. Lesly is planning on heading back to school to study to become a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Haley, one of our full time Dental Assistants, comes to us with over five years of experience in both general and surgical dentistry. She loves to make people laugh and her humor is infectious, keeping the whole office smiling. Haley has two dogs – King and Zoey and she loves animals. What she loves most about her job is that she has the chance to help people feel better about their smile. Fun Fact: Haley loves to watch horror movies and is a self-proclaimed foodie! She loves spending time with her friends, family and her adorable son, Landon.
Christine, or “Chrissy” as she is known to us, has been working as a Dental Assistant for over 20 years. With a passion for helping people, she loves working together as a team and creating lasting bonds with both patients and coworkers alike. Though not originally from New York, she currently lives on Long Island, has two children and three dogs – Charlie, Summer and Nali. In her free time, Chrissy enjoys horseback riding, ice skating and baking.
Jessica joined our team ready to learn the field of dentistry coming from a retail and customer service background. She decided to make the change in career after listening to her best friend, another valued employee, talk about how much she loved her job. She loved the idea of being part of a team that was enthusiastic about helping patients and making their visits smooth and comfortable. Outside of the office, Jessica, a native New Yorker, has four daughters and is very passionate about being a great, supportive mom. She loves reading to her children and spending time focusing on fitness including walking and running.
Danny began working with us in early 2022. Born in Columbia and raised in New York, Danny came to us with several years of experience assisting in general dentistry. After finishing a program for medical assisting, he took a job at a dental office working at the front desk and found this field to be more interesting, so it stuck! He loves getting work with various doctors and specialties at our office and learning something new every day. Outside the office, he enjoys swimming, camping and cliff diving. Fun fact: Danny was a "theater kid" in high school. He fondly recalls playing LeFou in a production of Beauty & the Beast!
Jacqueline or "Jackie" started working with our practice in 2023. After graduating from the Dental Auxiliary Training Center where she earned a certificate in Dental Assisting, Jackie worked in a general practice before joining our multi-specialty facility. She really enjoys working in the healthcare industry and helping people feel better about their smiles. Born and raised on Long Island, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and her cat, Sky, and loves to bake! Fun fact: Jackie's favorite TV show is The Office!
A valued long time staff member, Denise a.k.a. “Dee”, has been working with us for over fifteen years and has been working in dentistry for over twenty years. Starting out as a Certified Dental Assistant, she was always intrigued every time she went to the dentist by all the instruments on the tray and wanted to know more about how the treatment was performed. Helping patients understand the treatment they need is one of the reasons why she loves her job. Playing board games, cooking and watching old movies are some of the things Denise loves to do. Fun Fact: Denise has been on TV twice! (Firstly in a commercial when she was 6 years old & secondly in an appearance with the legendary comedian Rodney Dangerfield!)
With over thirty years of experience in dental administration, Marie began her career working for her brother, a general dentist, in 1987. Always up for a challenge, Marie loves working on insurance matters, helping to rectify outstanding claims and financial matters. She and her husband Larry of almost forty years have two children and five grandchildren. Travel, exercise and baking with her grandkids rank high on Marie’s list of hobbies outside of the office.
Veronica started working with us in early 2022. She had already been working in the field of dentistry for approximately five years. She has lived in Long Island all her life and currently resides in Elmont. Outside of the office, she enjoys kick boxing, softball and hanging out with her friends and family. Veronica enjoys making relationships with the patients and seeing people satisfied with their treatment and healthy smiles.
Born in Brooklyn, transplanted to North Carolina, and back in New York now since graduating high school, Irene joined our team in 2022. She realized at a young age that she had a passion for healthcare and was always fascinated by the dentist. Making relationships with patients and getting to be a part of making them happy with their smile is what she feels is rewarding about her job. Outside of the office, Irene loves to swim, dance, travel, and watch movies. Fun facts: Irene has a great eye for fashion and loves to laugh!
Britney joined our practice in 2023, coming to us with a few years of experience in dentistry working in another multi-specialty practice. She decided to work in dentistry after graduating Hunter Business School. Her favorite part about her job and this field is seeing patients beautiful smiles and being able to learn something new each day. Born in Jamaica, Britney came to live in New York at the age of 7. She loves spending time with her family and her dog, Sassy. Outside of work, Britney enjoys cooking. Fun fact: You can often find her binge watching a new show online... and perhaps finishing an entire show in one sitting!
Figen joined our front desk team in 2023. Bringing a couple of years of prior dental experience and a can-do attitude, she loves working in an administrative capacity where she can thrive on organization and productivity. Born and raised on Long Island, before dentistry, Figen worked in retail sales for several years, but wanted to make a change. Outside of the office, she is a talented artist who focuses on painting. Fun fact: Figen enjoys baking!
